Classic Daiquiri
The Daiquiri, I feel bad even putting “classic” before Diaquiri. One of the best classic cocktails to ever exist has been changed, then changed, and finally changed 10 more times. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not above a good icy blended cocktail while sitting poolside on a hot 98 degree North Carolina day. But that drink, that refreshing modern rum cocktail, is not a Daiquiri.
The original form of this drink is simple like most other classics, 2 parts white rum, 1 part lime juice, .5 parts simple syrup. Most importantly, those three ingredients should be good quality. Not well quality rum you ordered for your college rum and coke and definitely not pre-squeezed lime juice from a plastic lime shaped bottle.

1oz Fresh Lime juice
.5oz Simple syrup
The How To
